Healing of the Spirit - Twisted brass torque

This torque, entirely handmade, is crafted from brass wire. It is designed to be adjustable to fit a majority of body types.

Brass is an alloy of copper and zinc used since prehistoric times. It is said to have the ability to repel negative influences, preserve the harmony of body and mind, and strengthen our inner energy. It is also traditionally used in the practice of Hinduism, where it is attributed with spiritual purity.

Brass is a metal that oxidizes naturally when in contact with air, skin, water, perspiration, and more. Traces may appear on the skin, as well as on the jewelry, specifically verdigris. Please note that these reactions are entirely natural and are not irreversible. Clean your jewelry with a microfiber cloth after wearing it to maintain its shine. You can also send it back to me from time to time so I can polish it in the studio; you would simply need to cover the shipping costs!
