The Serpent of Knowledge - Variscite and silver pendant, snake on the back

This pendant features a little-known, yet sublime stone: variscite. Its back is stamped with Celtic knots and its setting is adorned with Gothic motifs. A serpent has also been sawn onto the reverse of the piece.

Depending on cultures and eras, the serpent is a symbol of change, evolution, wisdom, and knowledge, but also the overthrow of the clergy and the state, particularly in the medieval period.

Variscite is a stone of abundance, joy, hope, forgiveness, and courage. It is ideally used during meditation and to accompany a spiritual journey.
