This necklace, adorned with a superb apatite from Lake Baikal in colors reminiscent of the lakebed , features a hand-sawn snowflake on its back. Moons and stars have also been engraved on it.

Skadi is the Skadi is the Norse goddess of winter , mountains, and skiing. She is a jötunn, meaning she belongs to the Norse giants . She was married to the god Odin , with whom she had many sons. The name Skadi is believed to be the origin of the name Scandinavia .
