The Ossuary - Gibeon meteorite and silver earrings
These exceptional earrings feature genuine Gibeon meteorite fragments . Two handcrafted reticulated silver bones adorn the bottom of the earrings.
The Gibeon meteorite crashed to Earth in prehistoric Namibia . Known to the local population for centuries, it was officially recorded in 1838. It originally weighed a total of 26 tons and is composed primarily of an iron-nickel alloy, but also of cobalt and phosphorus.
Unique pieces, silver and Gibeon meteorite earrings. Total length: 3.9cm. Do not expose to water. Suitable for "classic" pierced lobes only, cannot be worn with stretched lobes.
