Skadi - Lake Baikal apatite and sterling silver pendant, snowflake on the back

This pendant, adorned with a superb Baikal apatite whose colors evoke lakebeds, features a hand-sawn snowflake on its back. Moons and stars have also been stamped onto it.

Skadi is the Norse goddess of winter, mountains, and skiing. She is a jötunn, meaning she is one of the Norse giants. She was notably married to the god Odin, with whom she had many sons. The name Skadi is believed to be the origin of the name Scandinavia.

Apatite is a stone of soothing and calm. It is ideal for artists and people who need to channel their emotions. Apatite also helps to develop our third eye and our self-confidence.
